This cottage is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday, is a traditional 18th Century barn, converted into three cottages. Situated inside the Snowdonia National Park on a 5 acre livestock smallholding not to far from the tiny village of Capel Garmon. Between the 3, they can accommodate up to 9 people.The cottage has two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x adult bunk. Shower room with shower, WC and basin. Light and airy open-plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with two sofas and log effect electric fire. The cottage has retained many original features which include pine panelling, exposed beams and stonework, decorated and furnished to create a comfortable atmosphere. Set in a position with fantastic views of the Penmachno Valley, Gwydyr Forest and the magnificent Snowdonia mountain range beyond. With stunning scenery, it is the ideal location throughout the year for walking, cycling and bird watching. About the area: Being North Wales' most popular inland resort, Betws-y-Coed is surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, making it a haven for walkers. The River Conwy joins its three tributaries at Betws-y-Coed flowing from the west. It has cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges with the most famous of all being the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs and places to eat and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre.
