This is a pleasant 18th Century terraced barn conversion, situated within the Snowdonia National Park on a 5 acre livestock smallholding just outside the tiny village of Capel Garmon. With lots of character and impressive views of, the Snowdonia mountain range, Penmachno Valley and Gwydyr Forest. It retains many original features with pine panelling, exposed beams and stonework and offers comfortable, light and airy living accommodation. With stunning scenery, it provides the perfect base throughout the year for walking, cycling and bird watching. The cottage is well situated for visiting picturesque Betws-y-Coed with its golf course and riverside walks, specialist outdoor shops , as well as castles, beaches and many other places of interest in North Wales, making Meifod perfect for a relaxing holiday. The River Conwy joins its three tributaries at Betws-y-Coed flowing from the west. It has cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges with the most famous of all being the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs and places to eat and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre.
