A quaint detached house, placed in a rural location between the seaside villages of Borth-y-Gest and Morfa Bychan, only 15 mins walk from the harbour town of Porthmadog. There is also a large garden, ideal for dining al fresco and enjoying the view of nearby Mount Moel-y-Gest. The magnificent beach at Black Rock Sands is only a short walk from the house - 15 mins, and there are various attractions to enjoy close by such as a trip on the Ffestiniog Railway through spectacular scenery. About the area: Porthmadog 0.7 miles; Harlech 5 miles; Caernarfon 19 miles. The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and is in a stunning setting. Being the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog has plenty of individual shops and restaurants, and is home to the Ffestiniog Railway, where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog. The village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is only a short walk or drive from the town. The famous and unique Italienate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Located on a rugged cliff top on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, renowned as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of woodlands and sandy beaches. The area also offers castles at Criccieth and Harlech, and amazing unspoilt beaches such as Black Rock Sands, where the sands stretch as far as the eye can see. This is an ideal location!
