Foel Fawr is a large, modern detached house in an isolated position, surrounded by rolling farmland. Decorated and furnished to high standards, the house is well equipped and comfortable throughout. There are five bedrooms: 1 x double with ensuite (shower, basin and WC), 1 x double, 2 x twin (one on ground floor), 1 x single. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Shower room with shower cubicle. Fitted kitchen leading to a large dining room with a warm and welcoming Rayburn oil cooker. Sitting room with electric fire. A lovely lawned garden with amazing countryside views. Only 4 miles from the historic town of Carmarthen. Nearby there is excellent walking and cycling, along with excellent golf at the 18 hole course only half a mile away. The fabulous sandy beaches along the stunning Carmarthen Bay coastline, the famous Oakwood Leisure Park, Folly Farm and the Dylan Thomas Boathouse museum are all within easy reach. This is an ideal base for an enjoyable holiday. About the area: Carmarthen 4 miles; Tenby 25 miles. The town of Carmarthen overlooks the banks of the River Tywi and boasts the ruins of a Norman castle, the site of a Roman amphitheatre, a museum containing Roman relics and a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Carmarthenshire is also known as 'the garden of Wales', whose wonderful coast and countryside offer the perfect backdrop for a wide range of activities. There is excellent walking, cycling, fishing, bird watching and golf available, as well as numerous country parks, show caves, castles, gold mines and steam railways to visit. Enjoy day trips to the lovely sandy beaches and rocky coves of beautiful Carmarthen Bay, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park or the Black Mountains.
