Just 4 miles away is delightful Conwy, a World Heritage Site with a splendid castle and completely enclosed in its well-preserved town walls. There is a lot to enjoy in Conwy - the picturesque fishing harbour, Plas Mawr, one of the best preserved medieval town houses in the country, the National Trust's Aberconwy House, Britain's 'smallest house' (worth an interesting, if quick, visit!) as well as the town's shops, pubs and restaurants nestled along the narrow and winding streets.
