This is a delightful 18th Century, stone built cottage, located on the outskirts of Manod, close to the centre of Snowdonia National Park. This charming open plan cottage boasts magnificent mountain views and has been renovated to obtain much of the original character. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double with mountain views, 1 x 2' 6' twin beds. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with inglenook fireplace, multi-fuel stove and mountain views. The area offers stunning countryside and beautiful views, with the hidden Manod Lake and the Manod Mawr/Bach Mountains directly opposite the cottage. Nearby you can enjoy the bustling town of Porthmadog with its marina, or the enormous beach at Black Rock Sands. Bodnant Gardens and Mount Snowdon are both within easy reach. This is a lovely retreat for all the family! About the area: Manod 0.25 miles; Blaenau Ffestiniog 1.5 miles; Porthmadog 10 miles; Betws-y-Coed 13 miles. Manod is located between Manod and Moelwyn mountains close to the centre of Snowdonia National Park. The town is placed in an elevated, natural bowl in this mountainous region, has a wide variety of shops and pubs, but is most renowned for its tourist attractions. One of the old quarries is now the famous Llechwedd Slate Cavern, or there is the hydroelectric power station and famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog Railway providing great trips through the spectacular countryside. Enjoy super walks and bike trails, climbing at the Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre, beautiful sandy beaches, golf, great fishing, or visit the delightful Betws-y-Coed.
