A charming, first floor apartment, located in a stunning listed building, within the celebrated city of Chester walls. Chester provides a variety of momentous architecture, these include Elizabethan town houses, the remains of a Roman amphitheatre, medieval churches and contemporary apartments. The famous 'Rows' offers shoppers with independent stores and famous names, whilst there are plenty of fine bars, bistros and restaurants. Take a peaceful walk along the picturesque River Dee, or visit the famous Chester Zoo! About the area: Chester has justifiably been described as 'the jewel of the North-West of England'. The most fascinating feature of the city is that within a small area there is evidence of every period of history - from the ancient walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, medieval churches, Georgian terraces, Elizabethan timber-framed town houses, to Victorian restorations and 21st century architecture. The City has plenty to offer the tourist, including brilliant shopping, in the renowned 'Rows', and pretty walks. Further afield, the magnificent Welsh mountains and coastline, and the market villages and towns of Cheshire, are all within touring distance, whilst the Wirral Peninsula which is close by has plenty splendid courses for the golfing enthusiast.
