There are magnificent scenic walks right from the door with the Offa's Dyke Pathway nearby, and guests can take advantage of a summertime dip in the heated swimming pool, River Clwyd runs through the farm so there is also private fishing. About the area: Bodfari 1.5 miles; Denbigh 5 miles; Ruthin 10 miles. The quaint village of Bodfari is peacefully situated in the lovely Vale of Clwyd, beneath the imposing Clwydian Hill Range. The village has packed with history and taken on many roles, such as a Celtic camp in 500 BC and a Roman Encampment. Today, this delightful village is home to a very welcoming local shop, whilst the surrounding area has a variety of good country pubs and eateries. The Offa's Dyke pathway is accessible from the village and the old market town of Denbigh, with its 13th Century Castle and beautiful streets littered with shops, restaurants and pubs, is only 5 miles away. Endless, stunning countryside surrounds this area, which provides excellent walking, bird and nature watching opportunities. This truly is a wonderful base from which to explore the North of Wales.
