A welcoming, detached bungalow, located just a short walk from the rocky coves and amazing Blue Flag sandy beach at Trearddur Bay. Famous for its watersports, sailing, fishing, golfing and walking opportunities, Trearddur Bay also has a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The magnificent scenery, medieval castles and National Trust properties at nearby Snowdonia are a definite must see while a day trip to Dublin is also well worth the short ferry crossing from the port town of Holyhead. A perfect base for an excellent holiday, any time of the year. About the area: Trearddur Bay is located on the western shore of Holy Island. It's truly stunning - a great sweep of low grassy coastline with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). In summer the main activities are watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing. Golfers will enjoy the brilliant Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It is also a superb place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and plenty of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. Trearddur Bay itself has shops, pubs and restaurants and nearby Holyhead offers a broader range of amenities, including a leisure centre, a harbour front, marina, the worlds second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry.
