With spectacular cliffs and sandy beaches, this small village offers a local shop and a superb coffee house, whilst nearby Church Bay has a brilliant seafood restaurant. The only working windmill in Wales is within easy reach, offering an opportunity to watch corn being ground in the old fashioned way, the surrounding countryside has excellent fishing, climbing and birdwatching opportunities. Watersports enthusiast are well catered for with kitesurfing, diving and sailing at the beautiful Rhosneigr beach, or there is an 18 hole course at the superb Rhosneigr golf club. Visit the old town of Beaumaris with its medieval castle, shops and restaurants, spend the day at Anglesey Sea Zoo or take a boat trip past the Plas Newydd Mansion.
