A delightful, 19th Century former quarryman's cottage, located in the peaceful country village of Glanwydden, and home to the famous Queen's Head Country Pub and Restaurant; renowned for its brilliant food. Perfectly located between the stunning coastline and beautiful countryside of North Wales, just a few miles from the seaside towns of Conwy and Llandudno. Ground floor bathroom with 3/4 size bath with shower over, WC and basin. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Living room with impressive stone fireplace with woodburner. A pretty front garden, and at the back a decked roof garden; ideal for outdoor dining. The area really is a paradise for walkers, climbers, cyclists, birdwatchers and for the watersports enthusiasts. With plenty to do this is a wonderful and romantic retreat any time of the year! About the area: Glanwydden is a tranquil country village, set between the stunning coastline and the scenic countryside of North Wales. This idyllic village can be described as an ultimate retreat, ideal for exploring the superb scenery, taking walks on the unspoilt sandy beaches or visiting the castles, churches and gardens in the area. Only 3 miles away is the renowned Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno, offering two gorgeous beaches, brilliant shops, restaurants and pubs, a popular dry-ski slope and stunning views from the summit of the Great Orme, which you can reach by the Great Orme Tramway or an exhilarating cable car ride of over a mile. Nearby is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site, a medieval gem, Conwy is has a splendid castle and is completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. There are miles of sandy beaches along the coast of North Wales and excellent walking in the Snowdonia National Park only 20 minutes' drive away. There is plenty to see and do all year.
