A traditional Welsh Farmhouse on a dairy and sheep farm, on the outskirts of Blaenporth. This accommodation is welcoming and simple, with three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x family with double and single beds, 1 x single. Ground floor bathroom with bath with shower over, basin, bidet and W.C. Fitted kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and open fire. Note: Limited headroom between kitchen and sitting room, and over the stairs. Large lawned garden, ideal for playing or relaxing. The owners can offer visitors the chance to join in on the farm, including pre-arranged feeding of the lambs and calves in the correct season. There are beautiful country walks right from the doorstep, and just a short drive away the family can enjoy the waterfalls at Cilgerran, the town of Cardigan, the beaches and watersports at Aberaeron and New Quay, and get the chance to see the magnificent dolphins off the Welsh coastline. An ideal base to enjoy a fun packed holiday. About the area: Blaenporth is a quaint, scattered village in beautiful Welsh countryside, Aberporth with its sandy beach is within easy reach at only 2 miles away. Nearby there are many other renowned spots along the stunning Welsh coastline such as Llangrannog, New Quay and Aberaeron, each offering a wide variety of water sports as well as the chance to try and spot the resident dolphins! Only 6 miles away is Cardigan, a superb market town with a variety of shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. A short drive away is the Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park or visit the castle at Cilgerran, and the waterfalls at Cenarth, and where the traditional Welsh form of fishing on the falls in coracle boats is still active. All in all this is a superb base for a excellent family holiday. Amenities: Electric storage heaters throughout with extra heating from open fire in the sitting room.
