Ground floor shower room with shower, WC and basin. Fitted kitchen with arch to dining room. Utility room. Cosy sitting room with an open fire in Victorian fireplace. Just 10 minutes' walk away is the renowned National Whitewater Centre providing rafting and canoeing, and offers an exhilarating day out (this must be pre-booked) and the stunning scenery at Lake Celyn is just a 20 minute walk from the house. Bala has plenty to offer including various shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as a leisure centre, golf course and the beautiful lake. This is an ideal holiday base! About the area: The small village of Frongoch is ideally situated between the magnificent lakes of Bala and Celyn, and is surrounded by the Arenig Mountains. The village has a little shop with cafe, and is famous for the National Whitewater Centre on the River Tryweryn, just 10 minutes walk away. Bala is just under 3 miles away, set at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala's renowned lake, being the largest natural lake in Wales and residence to a unique fish called named the Gwyniaid, a real relic of the Ice Age. Famous as a centre for superb watersports, including fishing, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing & white water rafting, the headquarters of the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway is also here. The town has a good range of interesting shops, restaurants, inns and an historical Town Walk. Surrounded by the beautiful Snowdonia Mountain on one side and on the other the magnificent Range Berwyn Mountains, this is a true mecca for walking, climbing, mountain biking and plenty of other outdoor activities.
