A charming 17th century cottage, set in an idyllic location at the end of a bridle lane near to the foot of beautiful wooded hills, in the hamlet of Llwyn Du, on the edge of the pretty village of Llwyngwril located within the Snowdonia National Park. Furnished and decorated to a high standard, the property provides a cosy cottage atmosphere but with a contemporary feel. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double with colour TV & video, 1 x mezzanine twin (double bedroom accessed via twin). Ground floor shower room with large walk-in shower, WC and basin. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Living room with coal effect electric fire. There are many riverside and hill walks right from the door while the amenities of the village are only a 10 minute walk away, as is the shingle beach offering up stretches of sand and rock pools at low tide. The tiny hamlet of Llwyn Du consists of three houses, reached via a short, private road in the beautful village of Llwyngwril, within the Snowdonia National Park. This coastal village is set quietly at the edge of the River Gwril, between the magnificent Snowdonia Mountains and the gorgeous beaches of the Cardigan Bay coastline. It has a 16th Century church, well reputed Gallery Caf, pleasant pub and picturesque riverside setting offering superb walks, a variety of wild flowers and lots of species of birds. Enjoy a trip on the narrow gauge railway from nearby Fairbourne, to the sand dunes at Barmouth. Within a short drive are the renowned towns of Dolgellau and Aberdovey, the majestic medieval Harlech Castle and the Snowdonia National Park.
