A charming terraced property in the middle of the old mining village of Cwmgors, just 6 miles from Ammanford. It has been lovingly restored to offer warm and welcoming accommodation. There are stunning views of the Black Mountain from the garden, making it a perfect spot for outdoor dining. There are superb walks right from the doorstep. This is a perfect base for any family holiday. About the area: The old mining village of Cwmgors, is set at the base of the magnificent Black Mountain, offering a visitors shop, pub and a brilliant award-winning fish and chip shop. From the doorstep there is superb walking, in the Black Mountain and further north, in the Amman Valley, offering vast moorlands, medieval castles, prehistoric burial sites and acting as the gateway to the Brecon Beacons. The market town of Ammanford is only 6 miles away, and has a wide variety of shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, while the larger town of Neath is just 15 miles away. Close by there is one of only two purpose built, all-weather trotting race tracks at Tairgwaith, holding regular race meetings from March to September. The magnificent Welsh coastline is to the south, with superb sandy beaches along The Mumbles, Pembrey Country Park and the National Wetland Centre of Wales.
