A superb stone built coach house, located in a rural position in the stunning grounds of the owner's home, one mile from the village of Gilwern. The House is very comfortable and spacious. There are two bedrooms: 1 x king size double with small balcony with magnificent views, 1 x twin (zip-link bed, can be made up as a double if requested at time of booking). Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting, this truly is a great place for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park or the medieval town of Abergavenny and the picturesque villages of the surrounding area. About the area: Crickhowell 3 miles; Abergavenny 4 miles; Monmouth 20 miles. Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, the pretty village of Gilwern provides visitors with many amenities, these include traditional pubs, shops and a superb fish and chip shop. The National Park covers about 520 sq miles, and the area around Gilwern is surrounded by gorgeous countryside offering excellent walking, cycling and bird watching, as well as salmon and trout fishing on the river Usk. The medieval market town of Abergavenny, known as the 'Gateway to Wales', is set between the 'seven hills', with many outdoor and indoor markets, majestic castle and museums. The beautiful mountain known as Sugarloaf provides fantastic walks for every ability, as well as a vineyard, the beautiful town of Crickhowell which is a must for all visitors is just a few miles away.
