A charming 18th century cottage, hidden away off the main street in the superb village of Betws-y-Coed. This stone built, semi detached property has three cosy bedrooms: 2 x doubles, 1 x single with 2nd pull-out bed (for children aged 10 and under). Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and basin. Modern fitted kitchen with dining area. Living room with exposed beams & inglenook fireplace with woodburner. Note: Bedrooms & bathroom are accessed down 4 internal steps. The beautiful terraced garden is ideal for alfresco dining after enjoying an exhilarating day in the stunning surrounding countryside. Explore the renowned Pont-y-Pair bridge, of the picturesque River Llugwy, very close to the property, or enjoy superb walking, mountain biking, mountaineering, or canoeing amidst the beautiful mountain range that surrounds this area aswell as a variety of shops and pubs just a little walk away. About the area: Llanrwst 5 miles; Blaenau Ffestiniog 11 miles. Betws-y-Coed is said to be North Wales' most popular inland resort. It is surrounded by thick woodland and gorgeous mountain country, this is a paradise for walkers. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets three tributaries, and the stunning area is enhanced by waterfalls, river pools and old bridges. The magnificent Swallow Falls is the most famous of all, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a magnificent chasm. The village offers shops, pubs and places to eat and you can find the Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre here. Amenities: Full gas central heating & woodburner in living room.
