A 19th century end of terrace cottage, in the village of Trawsfynydd, in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park. This beautiful property has retained much of its character, creating a cosy and charming atmosphere. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single with additional pull-out bed (suitable for under 12s only). Bathroom with Whirlpool Spa bath with shower over, WC and basin. Lower ground floor fitted kitchen. Sitting room with open fire, sofa bed and dining area. Note: When pull out bed is in use, there is no floor space in single room. The rear garden is ideal for relaxing and taking in the countryside views and the magnificent Arenig Mountain Range in the distance. This area is perfect for a quiet break, or there is walking, climbing, water sports, fishing, birdwatching and golf in all directions for outdoor activity enthusiasts. Return to this welcoming cottage and relax at the end of an exciting day. About the area: Porthmadog, Harlech and Dolgellau 10 miles. This Welsh village is set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, and is surrounded by the Arenig mountains and Rhinog, Moelwyn. The superb Trawsfynydd Lake, renowned for its fishing, is just a short stroll away and the village itself has a pub and a small choice of shops. This area is a paradise for outdoor activities such as brilliant water sports, walking, climbing, fishing, golf and mountain biking. The magnificent beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are nearby, as are the towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog. Visit castles, slate and copper mines, narrow gauge railways and the renowned Portmeirion Italianate Village.
