Ground floor wet room with shower, WC and basin. Kitchen with breakfast bar for 2. Sitting room with sofa bed and open fire. This is great location from which to enjoy nearby Bala, renowned for its brilliant water sports, or Coed-y-Brenin - UK's largest outdoor cycling centre, just 12 miles away. Within an hour's drive explore castles and sandy beaches or enjoy the areas wonderful climbing, walking, mountain biking and white water rafting. This is a perfect location, for an exciting holiday all year round. About the area: Bala 5 miles; Dolgellau 13 miles. The Welsh village of Llanuwchllyn is located 5 miles from the famous town of Bala, at the south end of Bala Lake which is the largest natural lake in Wales. The village has a shop, pub serving excellent food and petrol station, but is most renowned as the headquarters for the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway, offering a scenic 9 mile journey along the shores of the renowned lake. The market town of Bala is closeby, famous as a centre for brilliant water-sports such as fishing, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and white water rafting. The town itself is full of history and has a variety of interesting shops, restaurants, inns and an historical Town Walk. Surrounded by the magnificent Berwyn mountain range, this is a paradise for walking, cycling and many other outdoor activities. A perfect spot for touring the North and Mid Wales including the beautiful North Wales Heritage Coast and the Snowdonia National Park.
