This cottage is one of two semi detached stable conversions, situated opposite the owners home on 7 acres at the foot of the Blorenge and Sugar Loaf mountains, on the outskirts of the village of Llanfoist, just 1.5 miles from Abergavenny. The properties have been converted to provide spacious, light and airy accommodation. There is one double bedroom. Bathroom with bath, hand shower, WC and basin. Shared utility building. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed. This cottage is just right as a base for exploring this superb part of Wales. This is a paradise for outdoor pursuits such as climbing, walking, paragliding, cycling, fishing, sailing and birdwatching as the area is close to the River Usk and close to the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. The area also has many fine restaurants and pubs, market towns and quaint villages, making this location a perfect 'all year round' holiday location. About the area: Monmouth 18 miles. The delightful market town of Abergavenny is nestled between seven surrounding mountains, with River Usk flowing through it, providing beautiful views in every direction. The town has a castle with a museum, an indoor market hall, churches, quality shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. Take trips through the Black Mountains, fish in the River Usk, hire bikes to explore the lovely countryside, and enjoy the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. Amenities: Full oil central heating.
