This traditional town house sits at the beginning of Caernarfon's old High Street, and just a few yards away from the promenade where there are stunning sunsets over the Menai Straits. The property is light and airy offering contemporary accommodation, ideal for a family or a couple. There are three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x 2nd floor twin. Shower room with shower cubicle, WC and basin. 2nd floor bathroom with double ended bath, shower over, WC and basin. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The town square offers a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs, and the magnificent 13th Century castle, is just a 2 minutes walk away. This is a superb location for touring the North of Wales; nearby are stunning beaches ideal for family fun and watersports, the majestic mountains, valleys and lakes of Snowdonia (Mount Snowdon is 8 miles), the scenic Welsh Highland Railway, medieval castles, sea fishing and boat trips, and brilliant golf courses About the area: Llanberis 8 miles; Bangor 9 miles. Caernarfon (county town of Gwynedd) has historic and cultural importance in North Wales. It is a renowned tourist spot with its majestic 13th Century castle and town walls. In season visitors can take tours of the castle aswell as special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway passing through dramatic scenery. Within walking distance of the town is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum. Caernarfon provides a variety of shops and places to eat and is the beautiful beaches of the Isle of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the rivers and mountains of Snowdonia are closeby.
