There is a nice four poster double, fitted kitchen area, dining area and sitting area with coal-effect electric fire. Shower room with shower, WC and basin. Note: Bedroom area is separated from living area by low beam - ducking required! The magnificent Wye Valley Walk runs through the grounds of the property providing beautiful scenery and superb walks from the doorstep. The wonderful Elan Valley Lakes are closeby and Rhayader and Builth Wells are both within easy reach, and have shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. This wonderful part of Wales provides something for everyone and this lovely apartment is the ideal base for exploring the area. About the area: Llanwrthwl 2.5 miles; Rhayader 2.5 miles. The small, beautiful village of Llanwrthwl is set in stunning countryside between Builth Wells and Rhayader, and offers a small shop. Just 2.5 miles away is the bustling market town of Rhayader where there is an abundance of small unusual shops, pubs, many eating establishments and a leisure complex, aswell as cycle hire available in the town. There is also opportunity to observe quite closely Red Kites, at a feeding station. For a more adventurous but enjoyable day, try pony trekking through the area.
