This property was a 19th Century school that has been successfully converted into a superb holiday home, set on the wooded slopes of the Glaslyn Valley in the quaint village of Prenteg with views over the Rhinog Mountains. Historically a copper and slate mining village, today it is famous for the sightings of Wales' only nesting Osprey. 4 miles away the bustling harbour town of Pothmadog has an exciting marina and a variety of individual shops and restaurants, and is home to the historic Ffestiniog Railway. The beautiful cliffs, coves and huge Black Rock Beach at the village of Borth-y-Gest make for the perfect day out, and the Italianate village of Portmeirion is a must. Nearby Criccieth, Caernarfon and Harlech are host to medieval castles and an array of excellent cycling and walking opportunities. This is a perfect location.
