An attractive, semi detached stone built cottage in an idyllic 'away from it all' setting, on a 220 acre farm, located in the foothills of the Berwyn Mountains. The cottage offers spectacular views of the Upper Dee Valley and stunning Mount Arenig (2775' high), and is just 3 miles from the market town of Bala. The cottage is well presented and has an open plan living area with beautiful views along with comfortable and modern furnishings. There are two bedrooms: 2 x twin. There is a 1.5 mile 'on farm' walk trail from the property offering gorgeous panoramic mountain and hill views, aswell as views over Lake Bala. Nearby Bala is renowned for its brilliant watersports such as windsurfing, canoeing, rafting and fishing. About the area: Dolgellau 18 miles; Barmouth 27 miles; Llangollen 22 miles; Betws-y-Coed 29 miles. Bala is a busy market town within the stunning Snowdonia National Park and is situated at the head of Llyn Tegid. Bala's renowned lake, the largest natural lake in Wales is home to a unique fish named the Gwyniaid, a true relic of the Ice Age. Famous for great watersports such as fishing, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and white water rafting. The town is packed with history and has a wide choice of interesting shops, restaurants and inns, and an historical Town Walk. With the stunning Berwyn Mountains on one side and the magnificent Snowdonia Mountain Range on the other, this area is a real mecca for walking, climbing, mountain biking and plenty of other outdoor pursuits.
