A lovely conversion adjoining the owners' 19th Century brick and stone farmhouse, set in a remote and scenic, rural location 3 miles from the village of Llandinam. This location is perfect for cycling, walking, birdwatching, sailing and fishing as it is surrounded by rolling countryside and close to the Severn Way Path and a National Cycle Route. Enjoy trips to the Hafren Forest and Lake Clywedog , the Centre for Alternative Technology, while the superb beaches of Aberdovey are less than an hours drive away. About the area: Llanidloes 5 miles; Newtown 10 miles. The quaint village of Llandinam is set beside the River Severn and is packed in history dating back from even before Roman times. Today, the village offers a shop and pub and is surrounded by magnificent countryside - ideal for walking, cycling, birdwatching, kite feeding and fishing. 5 miles away is the town of Llanidloes, also built on the banks of the River Severn. It offers a variety of architecture including timber-framed black and white houses, and the impressive old market hall is its finest example. There is a wide choice of amenities in the town, such as antique shops, pubs, restaurants and lovely riverside walks.
