This location is perfect for cycling, walking, birdwatching, sailing and fishing as it is surrounded by rolling countryside and close to the Severn Way Path and a National Cycle Route. Enjoy trips to the Hafren Forest and Lake Clywedog , the Centre for Alternative Technology, while the superb beaches of Aberdovey are less than an hours drive away. About the area: Llanidloes 5 miles; Newtown 10 miles. The quaint village of Llandinam is set beside the River Severn and is packed in history dating back from even before Roman times. Today, the village offers a shop and pub and is surrounded by magnificent countryside - ideal for walking, cycling, birdwatching, kite feeding and fishing. 5 miles away is the town of Llanidloes, also built on the banks of the River Severn. It offers a variety of architecture including timber-framed black and white houses, and the impressive old market hall is its finest example.
