A traditional, stone-built end of terrace property in Penrhynside village, on the lower slopes of Nant-y-Gamar mountain, close to Llandudno. This cottage has been renovated to provide spacious accommodation, furnished and decorated in a contemporary style. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double with wall-mounted flat screen TV & views, 1 x double with combi TV/DVD & Freeview (access to bed from one side only). Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and basin. Spacious open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area & step down to sitting area with cosy woodburner & views. The front decked area provides lovely views over Pendre Bay and the Welsh hills beyond. There are magnificent scenic walks from the cottage, and the surrounding area is a true paradise for cycling, climbing and watersports. Visit Victorian Llandudno and its beaches, promenade, shops, pubs and dry ski-slope. This is an ideal location any time of year. About the area: Llandudno 3 miles; Conwy 4 miles. This tourist resort its special as Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give appeal. The town has two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an crescent of Victorian hotels and the more peaceful West shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and stunning views towards Anglesey. The summit of the 679ft Great Orme offers the best views, you can get there by using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Only 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by an amazing castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls.
