A lovely Anglesey cottage adjoining the owner's home, set on a 25 acre smallholding on the outskirts of Caergeiliog village, with the beautiful west coast of this renowned Isle. Offering ground floor accommodation, this cosy cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a wildlife lake, it is an ideal location for a couple to enjoy a romantic break or an activity holiday. Wonderful sandy beaches and rocky coves, including the stunning Blue Flag sandy beach at Trearddur Bay, famous for safe bathing, watersports and fishing, as well as brilliant walking and golfing opportunities are all nearby. Explore the island's beautiful scenery, medieval Beaumaris Castle, Plas Newydd National Trust mansion and gardens, superb golf courses, a sea zoo and day trips throughout Snowdonia or Dublin. This is a perfect cottage for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday! About the area: Trearddur Bay 5 miles; Rhosneigr 8 miles. The small village of Caergeiliog is located close to the magnificent west coastline of the Isle of Anglesey, and just 5 miles from Trearddur Bay, a renowned seaside village. The area truly is beautiful with a great sweep of low grassy coastline with rocky coves and lovely fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Bathing, watersports, fishing, windsurfing and sailing are the main activities in the summer months, and for the golfing enthusiast there is the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It is also a great place for nature lovers, with brilliant birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and the Valley Lakes. Nearby Valley and Trearddur Bay offer shops, restaurants and pubs, and Holyhead has a wider range of amenities, such as a very good leisure centre, a harbour front and marina, the world's second longest breakwater and day trips to Dublin on the fast ferry.
