A semi detached Victorian house, placed on the edge of the pretty South Lakeland village of Cartmel, 2 miles from Grange-over-Sands. Extremely well presented, with excellent attention to detail, this outstanding property boasts three beautiful bedrooms all offering fantastic views over the surrounding village. This is a fantastic base for a wonderful holiday yearly. About the area: The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The Priory Church, one of the finest religious buildings in the north of England, remains the heart of the community with its gatehouse forming the entrance to the village. There are fantastic walking opportunities amongst beautiful, unspoilt countryside or you can visit The National Hunt Racecourse, Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition and Lakeland Motor Museum, all near by. The peaceful seaside retreat of Grange-over-Sands, with its Edwardian buildings and mountain backdrop, is only 2 miles away, whilst Windermere, with its panoramic views over England's longest lake, is within a fifteen minute drive.
