Nearby, visit the beautiful postcard town of Rothbury, which is home to the National Trust's Cragside House and Park, or explore the Northumberland National Park which is also within easy reach. The village of Longframlington rests at the heart of Northumberland, in between the Cheviots and the stunning coast and offers great access to a wide range of superb walking opportunities. Brinkburn Priory is a pleasant, short drive away - a restored Augustinian Priory in a lovely setting beside the River Coquet. Only 10 minutes drive to the west is the attractive National Trust's Cragside House and Gardens, whilst just a 15 minute drive to the east is the Heritage Coast offering miles of clean sandy beaches. The historic town of Alnwick, with its majestic Castle and Garden, is just 6 miles to the north and is definitely worth a visit. With the magnificent National Park also within easy reach, this base is perfect for exploring Northumberland or just taking a relaxing break!
