This delightful, well restored, terraced former farm cottage is in a hamlet 2 miles from the village of Swinton, and 5 miles from Coldstream. The village of Swinton which has been a centre for rural activities since the 11th Century, but was laid out as it is seen now in the 18th Century. Only 5 miles north of the town of Coldstream, and lies on the banks of one of the best salmon rivers in the country. Duns, once the main town in the area and with a lot of history to offer, is only 7 miles away. Throughout the Scottish Borders there are castles and stately homes, and there is a lot to see and do including golf, fishing and walking. Only a short drive away with its beautiful beaches, is the east coast of Scotland, while lively Edinburgh can be reached in an hour's drive.
