Enjoy a fresh egg for breakfast from one of the free range hens or watch the calves being fed, or take a stroll along one of the numerous footpaths which criss-cross this 180 acre farm. Less than 5 miles away, with its quaint hamstone cottages, lies the attractive town of Beaminster, whilst just a little further south on the magnificent Dorset Jurassic Coast is West Bay. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in tranquil, rural surroundings. The village is perfectly located to explore this fantastic rural area, beloved of Thomas Hardy, and in recent times often featured in the River Cottage TV series. Whilst Forde Abbey and Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park are both easily accessible, there are great walks to be had locally along the Monarch Way. Within 10 miles find you can the historic rope making town of Bridport, or at West Bay take a sea fishing trip or fossil hunt on the scenic Jurassic Coast.
