It is set within the owner's extensive gardens in a peaceful, rural location, 2 miles from the famous resort of Ryde. Furnished and equipped to exceptionally high standards, this light and airy lodge, with beautiful pine vaulted interior, offers superb open-plan studio accommodation. There is a super-king-size bed, fitted kitchen area with Belfast sink, dining area and sitting area. Wet-room with shower, WC and basin. Your every need is catered for and even unlimited seasonal use of the outdoor heated swimming pool, and the owner is happy to provide sumptuous meals by arrangement. The beautiful gardens are visited by wildlife such as red squirrels, hares, badgers and woodpeckers, and there are some superb walks straight from the door. Ryde is nearby, with its various attractions, fantastic sandy beaches and a wide selection of shops and restaurants. About the area: Ryde is renowned as 'The Gateway to the Island', it is the largest town on the Isle of Wight and became a popular holiday destination in the 1820s. Today, the regular ferry, catamaran and hovercraft services make this superb family resort accessible for all. There's so much to do and see, catering for every age and interest within the town and the local area, including a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs, whilst the 6 miles of gently sloping sandy beaches are perfect for bathing. Along the esplanade there is an ice rink, bowling greens, putting greens, tenpin bowling and children's rides as well as a boating lake and paddling pool.
