This is a wonderful, end-terrace cottage resting above the banks of the River Wharfe, just 4 minutes stroll from the heart of Grassington. The cottage has been lovingly decorated with wooden flooring, and provides superb accommodation set over 4 floors. There are four bedrooms: 1 x lower ground floor twin, 1 x 1st floor king size double, 1 x compact 1st floor twin, 1 x 1st floor adult bunks. This lovely property makes an ideal touring base! About the Area: Skipton 9 miles; Ilkley 12 miles. Grassington is one of the prettiest villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are scattered around the cobbled market place, boasting excellent shopping facilities for a village of its size. The monthly farmer's market offers a mouth watering variety of organic and homemade local produce. Located on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a beautiful walking area. Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk" are down dale. A little further is the stylish town of Ilkley, overlooked by the renowned Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden, offering spectacularly stunning limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a perfect base for discovering the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, whilst Bronte Country and York are also within easy motoring distance.
