A stone built mid-terrace property offering bright and cheerful accommodation. Situated in a quiet courtyard to the rear of the Teesdale Hotel - one of the oldest coaching inns in the area. The cottage has been completely refurbished, and is furnished, decorated and equipped to a high standard throughout. There are three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x single (Note: Access to single room is through the double room). Ground floor bathroom with bath (shower over), WC and washbasin. Neat but well equipped fitted kitchen with dining table. Living room with leather furniture and door out to shared courtyard and parking. Note: This property is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults. Providing very cosy and comfortable accommodation, and makes an ideal base for exploring the many attractions of the area. The hotel will even deliver an evening meal perfect after a day exploring! About the Area: Barnard Castle 10 miles. The pretty Pennine village of Middleton-In-Teesdale is perched on the riverbank in the stunning Tees Valley, in the heart of Teesdale - an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The village has a superb range of shops, places to eat and pubs. This is excellent walking country with open moorland and pretty wooded valleys and the waterfalls of High Force and Cauldron Snout nearby are amongst the most magnificent sights in the district. The market town of Barnard Castle nearby offers a full range of facilities. Brief Facilities/Highlights: Electric heating from storage heaters, fan heater in bathroom. Cot available on request. One well behaved pet welcome. Pub 1 min, shops and village centre 3 mins. Amenities: Electric heating from storage heaters, fan heater in bathroom.
