A gorgeous Grade II listed, stone-built seperated farmhouse, located on the side of Wild Boar Fell with awesome views of the Howgills and the wild, remote surrounding countryside. Constructed in the early 1600s, this stunning Lake District cottage is filled with character and charm, improved by antique furniture and lots of original features throughout. There are three bedrooms:1 x super king-size double, 1 x family room with twin beds & small (2' 3') single and 1 x twin. It has a bathroom with bath, basin & WC and ground floor shower room with shower, basin & WC. The farmhouse kitchen is delightful, with low beams, stone flooring and a comfy woodburning stove. Add to this the large lounge with open fire and guests have a beautiful 'away from it all' holiday cottage in a most amazingly peaceful setting. Footpaths lead you to amazing, hidden waterfalls and tiny becks, while above the house is an incredible limestone pavement. This is a perfect base from which to explore the area.
