A sympathetically converted detached barn, situated in a quiet hamlet just 2 miles from Belper. A wonderful property, Firestones is full of character, boasting beams throughout - from the attractive sitting room to the cosy bedrooms with their quaint sloping ceilings and ensuite facilities - Two bedrooms: 1 x double with ensuite (bath, basin and WC), 1 x twin with ensuite (bath with shower over, basin and WC).It also has a fitted kitchen and an open plan dining/living area with electric fire. Near the owners' home, with fantastic views of the countryside, the cottage is perfectly placed for walkers, and is within reach of the lovely Peak District National Park. The towns of Ashbourne and Matlock are close by and impressive Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are worth a visit. With golf only 5 miles away and fishing on the River Derwent (licence required), Firestones provides a relaxing holiday base any time of year! Amenities: Full gas central heating with additional heating from electric fire in living area. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, colour TV, video, DVD player, radio/stereo/CD player, library of books, games and videos etc. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Patio with garden furniture, separate lawned area. BBQ on request. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile.
