A modern, stone and timber separate cottage located on the south shore of Coniston Water, 6 miles from the village of Coniston. This charming property shares a restricted 4 acre estate with one other cottage on the shores of Coniston Water and is an opportunity to join tranquil seclusion with a brilliant lakeside holiday. A full-length veranda has lovely easterly views over the lake. The property has an open plan living area with wood burning stove, dining area & fitted kitchen. Three bedrooms: 1 x ground floor double, 2 x 1st floor twin (zip & link beds - can be doubles if requested). Ground floor bathroom with basin, bath & WC. 1st floor bathroom with basin, shower & WC. Guests are given complimentary (but responsible) use of the owners' boats and canoes or can use the private launching facility for guests' boats. Fishing, swimming, boating, walking, climbing are offered in the area. A quality property in one of Britain's most-loved holiday sites. Amenities: Electric central heating & woodburning stove. Electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, library of books/games. Power/wood for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot & highchair on request. Ample off road parking. 4 acres of grounds with furniture. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shops 6 miles, pubs 2 miles. Note: There is no TV at this property.
