This is a traditional barn conversion, set on a working farm in-between the village of Buckden and the small hamlet of Hubberholme. The cottage is packed with character, with beams throughout, and offering well equipped, comfortable accommodation. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin with zip and link bed (can be made up as a double on request). Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and basin. Ground floor shower room with shower cubicle, WC and basin. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire and sofa bed. Situated in a quiet, peaceful location, the cottage has superb views of the surrounding countryside. This is a perfect location for walkers, with many footpaths, circular walks and the River Wharfe on the doorstep. A wonderful base to enjoy a great holiday any time of the year. About the Area: Kettlewell 5 miles; Hawes 12 miles. The idyllic village of Buckden is nestled at the foot of Buckden Pike, close to the head of Upper Wharfedale. The village makes the ideal place from which to explore the magnificent scenery and beautiful villages of this wonderful Dale. Lots of Upper Wharfedale is National Trust owned which is an indication of the attractiveness of its classic countryside, with dry-stone walls and barns, flower-rich hay meadows and lovely valleyside woodland. Without doubt this is one of the best walking areas in the Dales due to the Dales Way passing close by. The village is comprised of a cluster of stone built houses and cottages with a traditional green at its heart. The green is home to the renowned 'Buck Inn' - a superb Georgian coaching inn that has retained much of its old charm. This is a perfect location for a holiday!
