This is a wonderful, terraced, stone-built cottage, resting on the fringes of the vibrant village of Crich, just 7 miles from Matlock, on the edge of the magnificent Peak District National Park. It has been lovingly furnished and if full of character. There are two bedrooms: 1 delightful kingsize double, 1 adult bunk (double below, single on top). Ground floor bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and basin. Small, well-equipped fitted kitchen. Cosy sitting room with dining table and a warming woodburner. The setting for the popular TV series Peak Practice and home to the renowned Tramway Museum, Crich offers a good choice of shops and pubs whilst plentiful pretty walks can be enjoyed right from the doorstep. Visit lovely Chatsworth House, enjoy the fabulous watersports at Carsington Reservoir or peruse the fantastic market towns of Matlock and Bakewell. This is an ideal base for exploring all that The Peak District has to offer! Amenities: Full gas central heating throughout with additional heating from woodburner in sitting room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, LCD colour TV, Freeview, video, DVD, radio/CD player etc. Library of books/games/videos. Fuel, power & starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed rear patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. Enclosed mature front garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 3 mins walk.
