A beautiful detached, 17th Century, Grade II listed cottage, located on a peaceful lane in the heart of the stunning Dales village of Austwick. The cottage boasts immense character and charm, offering a wealth of exposed beams and oak floors. The cosy sitting room has a woodburning stove, and there is a spacious kitchen with dining area. There are three bedrooms, 1 x double with 1 x single fold out bed & ensuite (separate shower, basin & WC), 1 x double, and 1 x twin. The bathroom has corner bath, separate shower, basin & WC. Utility room. This property offers some of the finest walks and cycle tracks in the Dales, right from the doorstep, while the nearby friendly pub serving delicious food, a shop, restaurant and post office are all within easy reach. You will want to return to this fabulous property time and time again. About the Area: Settle 5 miles; Skipton 20 miles. Located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is definitely one of the optimum areas for walking in the region. With caves and open moors, and limestone pavements and scars, the area offers a wealth of natural interest and there are superb cycle tracks and walks right on the doorstep. Austwick boasts a local pub which serves outstanding home cooked meals and a country hotel for that something a little more special, and a shop and post office for visitors' daily requirements as well. This peaceful village is nicely off the beaten track, whilst the market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal and Skipton are all within easy driving distance.
