Yorkshire Dales holiday cottage

This lodge is one of a small group of four detached, Scandinavian style wooden lodges situated set in a peaceful rural location, only 3.5 miles from Masham. The lodges are set back down a country lane and are ideal for families. Inside the accommodation is comfortably and simply furnished with pine furniture in keeping with the style of the property. There are two bedrooms: 1 x twin, 1 x bunks (narrow bunks - 80cm wide x 2m long). Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and washbasin. Small fitted kitchen, open to main living area, with light and spacious sitting and dining areas with door out onto the veranda. The pleasant veranda along the front of the lodge, with wooden table and chairs overlooking shared lawned areas is a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. About the Area: Ripon 9 miles. Masham is an historic little market town situated in the lower reaches of beautiful Wensleydale along the River Ure. The town is set in gently rolling farmland, boasting a large market square, where a Wednesday market has been joined by a popular Saturday market. In the surrounding area there are lots of walks, including a recently reopened 10 mile walk along the Ure, one of the best walks in the UK. The town itself has a wide range of crafts, shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants and has perhaps become best known as the home to the Black Sheep Brewery, now brewing 11 million pints of beer a year! An easy drive away are the popular towns of Ripon and Harrogate. With so much to do and see in the area, this is an ideal place for a holiday in all seasons.
