This is modern, single storey cottage, located in a courtyard just away from the High Street in the middle of the coastal town of Marske-by-the-Sea. Originally an old stable, the cottage is tastefully decorated and well presented combining a cosy atmosphere with all the conveniences of modern living. There is one double bedroom (4' bed). Shower room with shower, WC and basin. Fitted kitchen. Living room with sofa bed (suitable for up to two children or 1 adult) and dining area. All the faciltites of Marske are on the doorstep, such as an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and shops, whilst the superb, sandy beach is only a five minute walk away. This is an ideal base for an enjoyable holiday. About the Area: Saltburn 3 miles; Redcar 3 miles; Whitby 20 miles. Marske-by-the-Sea is a quaint, bustling coastal town with long, sandy beaches. It used to be an old fishing town and has now grown considerably with a mix of old and new with plenty of amenities. There is a wide selection of shops, restaurants and pubs catering for all the family. The town's secure, sandy beaches, sand dunes and fishing boats are a big attraction. Close by are attractions including Captain Cook's birthplace, the mining museum and the Zetland lifeboat museum. The stunning scenery of the North York Moors, and the many pretty inland villages and fishing villages such as Staithes and Runswick Bay are also nearby. The old spa town of Saltburn is just 3 miles away and it's an easy drive to other seaside resorts such as Whitby. A great base from which to tour the area.
