This is a traditional, detached miners cottage located in-between the beautiful villages of Muker and Gunnerside. Peacefully nestled at the base of Crackpot Moor, amongst a little cluster of houses, this light and airy accommodation has three traditional bedrooms, 2 x double, 1 x family room with twin beds and 1 x adult size bunk. A large kitchen with Rayburn and a lovely sitting room with multi fuel stove. Bathroom with corner bath, shower cubicle, WC and basin. With exposed timbers, and commanding views of the valley and fells from the large garden, this delightful property is perfect for families and friends alike. The surrounding Yorkshire countryside provides superb walking, climbing and cycling, while the area's wildlife should not be missed. This is a great property in a great location. About the Area: Reeth 5 miles; Richmond 15 miles. Gunnerside is situated in the heart of Swaledale, and is one of the most beautiful villages in the Dales National Park. Something of a sleepy backwater, the village is surrounded by traditional farm meadows, fells and pastures, with the pretty Gunnerside Beck travelling through the middle of the village before joining the fantastic River Swale on the village outskirts. Set amongst the cluster of old stone houses is a cafe (which has 'bistro' evenings) and a post office, while the village pub serves food at lunchtime and in the evenings. Within 15 miles are the market towns of Richmond, Leyburn, Hawes and Barnard Castle, all making Gunnerside a central and scenic base from which to tour the wonderful Dales.
