A wonderful, detached bungalow, on a small hillside in the heart of the attractive village of Allithwaite, on the beautiful Cartmel Peninsula. This charming property offers warm and welcoming accommodation. All ground floor. There are two lovely bedrooms: 1 x twin, 1 x double. Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and basin. Smart, modern kitchen with porch leading to garden. Delightful sitting room with feature fireplace and dining area. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the appealing garden, take an enjoyable stroll down to the coast, venture inland along one of the various footpaths or visit one of the local pubs. This is a perfext holiday location for couples and small families to get away from it all and enjoy this peaceful, unspoilt corner of the Lake District. Within easy reach is the Lake District National Park, Lakeland Motor Museum and the lovely Victorian seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands all. This is a superb base for a fantastic holiday, all year round. Amenities: Gas central heating throughout. Gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, colour TV with Freeview, DVD, radio/CD. All fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Travel cot available. Ample roadside parking approx 20 metres from the cottage. Mature garden with furniture. One small well behaved pet welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shop and pub 3 mins walk.
