LA LUNA: Studio unit with Queen Bed, full size futon and Full Kitchen The La Luna is a first floor unit and can comfortably sleep up to 4 adults. This is one single room with a small wall divider between the bed and the futon for minimal privacy. The bathroom in this unit has been completely remodeled with slate and tile.
Coqui del Mar apartments and vacation rentals provide a relaxed and unique setting for your Puerto Rican vacation while keeping in mind your budget. Most units have full kitchens so you can save a bit more by cooking a meal at home instead of eating out every meal. You are steps from the best beaches, restaurants, bars, shopping and nightlife. Situated between Condado/Ocean Park and Isla Verde, you are where its at. If you do not require a 5 Star hotel that looks the same as all the others, then try us. You are walking distance to the beaches of those same hotels, but for much less money. And we provide completely furnished studios and up to 3 bedroom apartments, down to a complete kitchen for much less than the price of a hotel. Wireless internet, cable television, IPOD stereo dock, and washer/dryer on site for your convenience. I would like to provide you with any information you need to make an informed decision, and whether you choose Coqui del Mar or another hotel, I would be glad to answer questions to ensure a memorable stay.
Located steps from the best Puerto Rico beaches. We are between Ocean Park, Condado area and Isla Verde in a more private area called 'Punta las Marias'. It is close to shopping, restaurants, bus stops, and
steps to the beach. The beach is less touristy than you will find in Isla Verde or Condado, and many locals come here as their number one preference. You can also stop by a few beachside restaurants such as Uvva’s or Pamela’s within 1/2 mile from us for a waterfront meal or drink. From the beach you can watch the kite boarders take flight, or wind surfers skim across the water. There is a public running track and tennis courts within 1 block of Coqui Del Mar. The C-53 and A-5 tourist bus is 2 blocks away and takes you to Isla Verde, Condado, and Old San Juan. You are minutes to the San Juan International Airport (SJU), 1/2 block to the beach, 2 blocks to the tourist bus, and numerous restaurants are located within a 15 minute walk. We provide free bicycle rentals, boogie boards, (limited number for check out), beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, even an Entertainment discount book with may 2 for 1 offers. You can arrange with a tour company to pick you up at Coqui Del Mar to go to El Yunque, phosphorescent bay, or many other tours. Most car rental agencies will do free pick ups from Coqui Del Mar.
Newly remodeled and complete with DVD player, IPOD player, iron/ironing board, towels, linens, pillows, extra blankets, dishes, silverware, and basic cooking utensils, (including a blender for those frozen drinks). Bring your laptop to use the wireless internet. We provide enough coffee supplies for at least your first night (we proudly use locally produced Puerto Rican coffee). Each unit is equipped with at least one hairdryer, and liquid soap is provided.
Free basic cable included on the large flat screen Television. Units are equipped with Window Air Conditioning Units and screens. There is a free washer/dryer on site for your convenience (Just see the on site manager). Maid service is provided prior to check in. If additional maid service is needed, this can be arranged for a fee through the on site manager. We have other units available that sleep from 1-6 persons, and we can provide accommodations for groups as large as 21 persons comfortably. We pride ourselves on our high quality mattresses and quality bedding for your good nights rest. It would be hard to find a better apartment rental in San Juan Puerto Rico at this price and condition.
We are eco-friendly and have low flow toilets, solar hot water (powered by the warm Puerto Rico sunshine), and we use a rain water cistern for our outside watering needs and as a back up to our Energy Star front loading washing machine. We also proudly feature locally produced Puerto Rican coffee for at least your first night’s stay.
Forget about renting beach chairs, bicycles, paddle tennis, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear or umbrellas - things you might expect to pay for or not even find at many hotels. Instead check them out for free from the on site management. We welcome your suggestions for future improvements. We are constantly improving by listening to what our guests want. We also provide numerous games in case you would rather relax at home and tennis rackets to use the local public courts. Our kitchens are equipped for making whatever meal you would like. We provide blenders, coffee maker, oven, gas stove, full refrigerator, microwave, and all cook ware. There is a shared gas grill on the patio for your bar-b-que plans.
