The terrace is in an elevated position to take advantage of the spectacular panoramic views of Blencathra and all the surrounding fells. It is perfectly placed for walkers, and the town of Keswick, with plenty of amenities, is a short drive away. Fishing, golf and riding are all available locally.

Just 3.5 miles away is the popular town of Keswick, the holiday centre of the north of the Lake District offering visitors plenty to do at any time of the year. The town has numerous shops and restaurants, as well as miniature golf, the Century Theatre, some good parks, a charming cinema and excellent fishing opportunities, whilst the stunning lake at Derwent Water is a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Keswick offers easy access to the magnificent surrounding Cumbrian countryside, and with all the southern Lakes, Solway Coast and Hadrian's Wall all nearby this superb location has plenty to do and see for all the family.
