The accommodation is a fully air conditioned apartment situated in the quiet and secure complex of Gran Calahonda being near the hub of the Calahonda area you do not need to hire a car to enjoy this area to the full. All the bars and resturants, as well as the local beach, are just a few minutes stroll away with a good public transport system to take you further afield if you require. The apartment comprises of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living / dining area with UK Satalite TV, DVD and Video and a fully fitted kitchen The large balcony with lovely sea views allows the opportunity to enjoy relaxing in the fresh air in a peaceful environment and is a super place to spend a relaxing holiday There are 3 swimming pools the complex with life guards for your safety and 2 Tennis courts for the more energetic A local Sports club just a few minutes drive away with all the facilities you would expect to find and do not forget the golf, there are numerous quality courses around

Only 20 minutes from Malaga airport, Calahonda is situated in an area surrounded by many Golf courses, wonderful safe sandy beaches and plenty of small fishing ports where you can find places to relax, eat and generally soak up the sunshine in this part of the Costa del Sol For those of you that like to explore, the old city of Malaga is 25 minutes away and of course Marbella (and it's port of Peuto Banus where the worlds wealthiest people moor their boats) is only a 10/15 minute drive The more adventurous can find the 'real' Spain, with it's small, white painted, villages only a few Kilometers inland. But no trip to this part of Spain would be complete withouit a trip to Gibralta..a piece of England in the sun...the motorway will get you there in about 40 mins For the shoppers, it is a paradise, every level is catered for from the duty free of Gibralta, Mabella and its 'named' shops to street markets taking place in and around the area where you can pick up many a bargain.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We do not operate specific change over days, the introduction of low cost scheduled airlines into Malaga through the week allows some very cheap flights to be obtained.

    Most people travelling to this part of Spain will hire a car but the apartment is in an area where this is not a neccessity as there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and there is also a regular bus service to Marbella and Malaga.

    If you wish we can arrange for you to be transported from and to the airport. This service is carried out by an English couple, the cost is cheaper than taxi and as they know the area it does enable you to relax as soon as you leave the airport.

    Our cleaners are instructed only to remove perishables from the appartment on changeovers, consequently our guests are free to use whatever remains in the apartment, replacing whatever they feel they should.

Situated on the third floor of a four story building access is gained into the apartment by a lift direct from an underground garage, the entrance to which is via remote controlled doors. The entrance door to the apartment opens into a vestibule which links to the main living and dining area. Ample relaxed seating is available with two '2 seater' settees. Access onto the balcony is from the living area through large patio doors. A table and four reclining chairs are on the balcony along with a couple of basket chairs in which you can sit back and soak up the view. The main bedroom has a second set of patio doors to gain direct access onto the balcony, it is furnished with twin beds and has en suite facilities. The second bedroom has a double bed, both bedrooms have ample wardrobe space. All rooms have ceiling mounted fans and are fitted with full air conditioning for your comfort.

The Gran Calahonda complex has three swimming pools and two floodlit tennis courts all of which are available to use free of charge. There is also the added benefit of a security 'video phone' to the main gate and a safe in the apartment.
