Courthouse Farm is situated on the outskirts of the village of Whitchurch Canonicorum, in the peaceful and picturesque Marshwood Vale.

Courthouse Dairy is barn conversion from the original cowstall and dairy, the conversion was completed in July 2003. It has a large kitchen and lounge with the dining area in the conservatory that leads into an enclosed garden. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for 11 people to use in comfort.

There is a shared games barn with alley skittles, table tennis, pool and snooker tables and basket ball net.

Off road parking in the courtyard.

The Dairy is a single storey barn conversion from the obsolete cow stall and dairy at Courthouse Farm. All the original beams and trusses have been preserved and incorporated in the ceilings and the old windows and doors have been replaced by wooden stained doors and wooden windows with double glazing. A wood burning stove with a large red brick fireplace installed for the ‘olde world’ feel. The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bath/shower rooms, an easy modern well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. There are garden chairs, table and bbq. Plenty of parking spaces are beside the house. There is a ramp to the front door and entrance lobby, leading to the lounge area.

Duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases are available to hire at £8.00 per person per stay, all beds will be made prior to arrival.
A cot is available but guests are asked to bring their own cot bedding.
Towels, 1 bath and 1 hand are available to hire at £6.00 per person per stay.
There are also electric heaters and an immersion heater for hot water.
Mains water supply.
Two smoke alarms, a fire blanket and extinguisher provided.
An oil-fired boiler for full central/water heating is installed, fully controlled by guests inside the house.
C/H,hot water and electric included in price.
Maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are allowed by prior arrangement at £20.00 each per week, but must not be left in the house whilst guests are out by day or night.

Courthouse Dairy is a single storey dwelling, and so is ideal for accompanied disabled, elderly, children and families.

Guests are welcome to come to the main farm to watch the milking, see baby calves, beef animals, sheep, and dogs. Lambing is usually between February and April. Watch sheep and cattle in the fields in spring and

summer out over the garden fence. We also grow winter wheat, spring barley, forage maize and various crops for animal feed. We will be pleased to show you around and answer any questions. We are inspected

annually for ABM/FABBL Beef and Lambs Scheme and NDFAS for milk production.

Directions to Courthouse Dairy

On the A35 between Bridport and Charmouth at Morcombelake, turn off to Whitchurch Canonicorum near Artwave. Follow this road for about 1 mile until a four cross road, here turn right and go past the Old Village School, now the Village Hall. Continue until you come to a turning on the left marked Bettiscombe and Marshwood, opposite the Berehayes Holiday Cottages. Take this left turn and Courthouse Farm is approximately 150 meters up this road on the left. Go into the yard and the Dairy on the right nearest the lane, parking is to the side of the house .

When usng Sat Nav put in Whitchurch Canonicorum via A35 otherwise you travel through lots of lanes.
