The Old Mill House is a charming 18th Century grade II listed building on the edge of the village of Old Bedhampton. The property is situated between a 3-acre lake and a tidal stream. In this house in 1819 John Keats finished his poem "The Eve of St. Agnes" and here in 1820 he spent his last night in England.

Tourism and Local Interest Tourist attractions include HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth, the Roman archaeological site of Fishbourne, Staunton Country Park, Weald and Downland open air museum at Singleton, Bosham Art Gallery and Craft Centre, The Playzone at Cosham, Queen Elizabeth Country Park and Hinton Ampner Garden at Bramdean. Further attractions include an historic railway, the "Watercress Line", which winds through the Meon Valley, and regular ferries to the Isle of Wight. Sporting Activities The house is close to the yachting, dinghy sailing and windsurfing facilities of Chichester harbour and the Solent. Locally available there are indoor and outdoor tennis courts, real tennis courts, riding stables, waterpark with slides, golf courses, ice-skating and gliding. Walking and cycling routes are within easy reach most notably at the Sussex Downs, the Meon Valley and the New Forest.

Dining room, large dining table seating 16 people. Kitchen/Breakfast Room, electric cooker, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and microwave. Conservatory, with views over swimming pool and lake. Utility room, with washing machine/ drying room. Location and Getting There: The village of Old Bedhampton, is equidistant between Portsmouth and Chichester and 1 mile from the sea. It takes about 1hr 10 minutes by train from Waterloo and under 2 hours by car from central London.
