The cottage is owner managed to a very high standard and every effort has been made to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. For your comfort and relaxation: Large bedroom containing fabulous handcarved kingsize 4 poster bed adorned with fine 600 count Egyptian cotton linen. High quality mattress with memory foam topper for additional comfort.
The bedding is feather but synthetic is available as an alternative for allergy sufferers.
Sitting room with squashy leather corner sofa, original (feature) range, flat screen TV / DVD / CD player. A generous selection of CD's and a choice of over 100 popular DVD’s to watch. Fluffy towels, linen, heating, utilities and final clean are all included in our rates.
The cottage is centrally heated and fully controllable by you via a thermostat.
The well equipped kitchen diner includes microwave and dishwasher, sharp knives and high quality cookware and crockery (Denby).
The secluded rear walled rear garden is accessed from the kitchen and has over 30 pots of plants which have all been carefully selected for scent and also so that there is something in bloom all year round. The garden also contains teak table & chairs. The garden is walled all the way round and therefore safe for pets.
There is off street parking for one car opposite the cottage.
We have provided 2 bicycles which you are welcome to use (at your own risk)

There are several golf courses in the area - the closest being at Bakewell which is 3.5 miles from the village.

Carsington Waters is a short drive away which offers a full range of water sports.
